Starting in the 2026/2027 academic year, UKW is introducing a new Bachelor's degree programme in Mechatronics, taught entirely in English.
This 3.5-year engineering programme (7 semesters) combines the fields of mechanics, electronics, computer science, automation, and robotics, equipping students with practical skills and knowledge highly valued in today's global job market.
Students can choose from two specializations:
- Unmanned Systems Engineering
- Mechatronics in Production Systems
Upon graduation, students will be awarded the title of Engineer (BEng) and will be well prepared for careers in industrial automation, robotics, mechanical engineering, as well as the automotive and aerospace sectors.

Admission is based on secondary school final examination results. Additional points are awarded to candidates who have obtained advanced-level results in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Computer Science.
